When you update to the latest version of macOS (Catalina), you’ll need Citrix Workspace Beta app to launch the cloud Desktop properly. I tried to install Citrix Workspace v2002 on a new MacBook Air running macOS 15 Catalina. I think the owner of the computer had used Migration Assistant from an old MacBook Air running a significantly older OS. The installer failed without a user-facing explanation. Other versions of Citrix Workspace and Citrix Receiver also failed to install. When opening Citrix Workspace app for Mac and Citrix Viewer for the first time on macOS Catalina, the OS prompts users to allow notifications from Citrix Viewer. Click “Allow” to receive notifications related to Citrix Workspace app for Mac. Citrix Workspace app for Mac allows you to use an Input Method Editor (IME) on either the user device or on the server. When client-side IME is enabled, users can compose text at the insertion point rather than in a separate window. Citrix Workspace app for Mac also.
